    1. Parapat, the Legendary City

    Parapat city is small, but you can find many things if you visit here. Besides you can enjoy the view of Lake Toba, you can also see historical houses. It is a historic house because it used to be the residence of the Dutch proclaimers. You coupled with the attraction of several beaches that have easy access. The alluring charm of Parapat is growing thanks to the inns and hotels along the coast that you can rent.

    1. Sibandang Island

    The next tourist spot around Lake Toba is Sibandang Island. Sibandang Island is considered the second largest island in Lake Toba. Here, you can visit several tourism objects that North Tapanuli Regency has developed. Some of the things include seeing the process of making Ulos, learning about the civilization of the Batak tribe, to visiting charming beaches that should not be missed when you are here. To access this destination is not difficult, you can take a ferry from Muara Harbor. You also don’t have to pay for an entrance ticket.

    1. Sipiso-piso Waterfall

    The charm of the beauty of the waterfall in Sipiso-piso has received a lot of attention from foreign visitors. This waterfall will amaze you because the water falls from a height of 120 meters and goes straight to the mouth of Lake Toba in Tongging. Sipiso-piso will also test your courage by descending hundreds of stairs. Very suitable for those of you who like an adventure. In addition to feeling refreshed after being tired of going down the stairs by bathing in this waterfall, you also have to take some photos for memories. The location is in Tongging Village, Karo Regency. The entrance ticket is only IDR 10,000/person.

    1. Tomok Parsaoran Tourism Village

    Tomok tourist village is famous for its legendary museum and has become a regular for foreign tourists, namely the Batak Museum. At the Batak Museum, visitors will see the typical Batak art danced by the Sigale-Gale Statue. Sigale-Gale itself is a statue made of wood and can dance with the help of humans. To enter the Batak Museum, you are only charged IDR 5,000 per person. There is no additional fee to see the Sigale-Gale Statue in action and the Tortor dance. Interestingly, the Batak Museum is close to the souvenir center in Samosir, so you can buy souvenirs to take home.

    1. Paropo

    One of the attractions of Paropo is the existence of a small hill jutting into Tao Silalahi. The lake water in this place is also still fresh and far from pollution, so it is suitable for swimming. Besides swimming, many tourists also come to Paropo to camp by the lake. If you find it difficult to bring a tent, there are many tent rental providers that you can use. Satisfied with Paropo, you can go directly to the Silalahi Monument and Siantaratas Hill, located not far from there. Paropo’s exact location is in Silahisabungan District, Dairi, North Sumatra.

    1. Sulfur in Aek Rangat

    The last destination in this recommendation is Aek Rangat at the foot of Pusuk Buhit. Aek Rangat is a hot spring whose water source comes from limestone. The sulfur water is then channeled into several pools that you can enjoy. Besides being a favorite place to bathe, This tourist spot also has a view that spoils the eye. Entrance to Aek Rangat is still free for individuals. But if you want to be with a group, you can rent a place at the cost of approximately IDR 50,000 to IDR 150,000.
